- The Battle of the Frogs and Mice, from the Homerica. Here is a link: http://www.frogsonice.com/froggy/tales/frogsandmice.shtml
- Hermes first trick... shortly after birth Hermes ran away from his mother while she was sleeping and stole all of his brother Apollo's cows...to cover his tracks he made them walk backwards with their hooves covered with bark and with bundles of straw tied to their tails to erase their tracks. He also tied a large bundle of sticks to his own feet to amke it look like they were stolen by a giant. When confronted by his brother he claimed to only be an infant who could not have done such a thing
- Pelias was Jason's uncle that made him go to Colchis(today Georgia) to get the skin of the golden sheep. There Jason fell in love with barbarian princess Medea and brought her back to Greece. Medea was a witch. When they got back to Pelias' palace, Medea gave Pelias' daughters a magical advice to make their father younger and stronger: She said that they should chop him into pieces and then boil these pieces. Unfortunately for them, this spell didn't work! (Medea had revenged Pelias about his cruelty towards Jason)
