Urban Myths?

Hi does anyone know any good Urban Myths that you may know? Because I have to do a topic and base it on a character from the Urban Myth and do a minute monologue as my character and actually make a costume!! So it would be really good if anyone knew any good realistic Urban Myths so that I can get started on this project! Thank you! =]

  7. I think if you visit a website called google, and then type in "urban myth" you might find some urban myths...
  8. there is the baby sitter who answers the phone with the killer in the house. gang initiation with flashing headlights in a car. Coke/pepsi and pop rocks killing you. there is also a websites called urbanlegends.com i'm sure they have a good history you could look into.
  9. Try looking things up on Snopes. It's a great site for debunking urban myths, but it's also fun to read through some of the things people have believed. http://www.snopes.com
  10. the lady who gets in a car and the guy in the car follows her and flashes his lights trying to get her to pull over etc.... the punchline being he's seen an axeman in her back seat. the gangbangers who drive with no lights on and follow and kill the first person to flash them.
  11. Every part of the U.S. has this one. Someone is driving at nite down a lonely wooded road. He spots a girl standing by the road wearing a prom gown. He stops and gives her a ride and when they get in front of the cemetary she disappears. He goes down the road, stops at a cafe and tells them about it. They say "oh, yeah, that's Mary, she was going to her prom 20 years ago and was killed in a car accident on the way there. A lot of people see her at night". (you could dress in a prom gown, maybe an old fashioned one from a thrift shop or a relative. Also maybe have on a corsage or a wrist corsage. Make your face very pale with dark shadows under your eyes.)
