What series is this? Funny Greek myths.? I read a book a while ago on greek mythology. It was a children novel, and i would like to get it for my sister, but i forgot what it was called. The story wraps around Hades, and how he is actually misunderstood, his brother Zeus only got to be god of the gods, by cheating at a card game. Tattoo myths and funny stories??? Hey, tell me/us funny tattoo stories that you've heard about or have happened to you. I was in a tattoo shop when a man came in to complain. The man came in to get his girlfriends name put on his arm, it was his first tattoo so he was really nervous i guess. Anyway he was told to write down his girlfriends name but because he was so nervous he wrote his ex's name instead. He ended up with a crazy tattoo with his ex's name and loads of heart and things round it. The only tattoo myth i've heard is that you NEVER connect a tattooed armband you always leave a gap. How do I write a funny script based off of a Greek Myth? For class, my grade is going to be preforming a series of Greek Myths. My group, made up of four people (two boys, two girls), is going to be preforming the myth of Hermes. The one where Hermes steals Apollo's cows. Part of what we're being graded on is writing an original script, and it's supposed to be based off of the myth, but we can change the words and everything as long as the information is still accurate and the scenes, characters, and basic plot line is the same. But, we have to make the script funny, too. Like, in one group, one of the boys is going to play Aphrodite in the myth of Narcissus and Echo, and they said they're going to give him a big blonde afro to put on. "Afro"dite, get it? And he's going to talk all gangsta and that type of thing. So, if you could give me a few ideas to make the myth really funny, that would be awesome. Normally, I'd be able to come up with something like this, but now that I've got a bunch of pressure on me, it's hard. When I was 16 my boyfriend tried to tell me that we didn't need a condom as long as we had sex while standing up. Luckily, I was actually educated in these matters. I laughed so hard I nearly cried. is it possible to get sick when you touch the floor with your bare feet? i keep hearing my parents that if you touch the floor you will get sick and get a cold. i say its a myth its just funny talk when you think its true. as i keep doing that i dont get sick at all. so what im telling you is that can you get sick from walking on the floor with your bare feet? also my floor is hard floor and can get cold on the next day. same here it aint scientifically true my parents say it is but its not.

Why Christians and Muslims through out history have had myths about Jews? They are so silly that i cant help but laugh. I find racism funny. But seriousily why? Christians in this time support Jews and Isreal but in the past they persecuted them.

Why do people have this funny idea? That teachers either got a low grade on their degree or chose to teach because they 'couldn't handle' other jobs? Working as a teacher I have seen several people come from 'the real world' and then quit a little later because they couldn't hack it. Usually they come in very arrogant, assuming that it will be easy, that schools are full of people who failed their degrees, and that they'll be better than us. Then they quit/have a breakdown. When I worked in the city, people who couldn't hack it didn't choose to teach. Many of them had shoddy generic degrees and cried over the tiniest thing, yet would repeatedly say teachers were second-rate/weak/bitter. The majority of teachers have 2:1 degrees or higher, have worked in the 'real world' for some time, and aren't bitter, faded swots. Where has this myth come from?

Whats the funniest dog myth you've ever heard? In my profession, I've heard some crazy ones. Here are mine, whats yours? A friend of mine actually thought that in Mexico there are wild packs of chihuahuas that were able to bring down horses. He truly believed this. I laughed for hours... When I first met my husband, we argrued for months over the fact that he had a friend who was a "breeder" of pit bulls. This guy had told him he bred a special bloodline of pitbulls who had two rows of teeth, like a shark. I have had other people tell me this as well.
